As we come towards the end of this year’s Summer wedding season, our thoughts at Onlyway turn to what is going to be on trend for next year’s weddings.
Working with colour analysts, looking at current fashion trends and seeing what is coming through our atelier, we predict we are going to be seeing a lot of blue and silver tones and themes.
Symbolising purity and fidelity, blue has long been associated weddings. Whether it be a Spring/Summer occasion or Autumn/Winter wonderland there is always the opportunity to add blue tone to your colour scheme.
Paired with silver, the normal serene blue takes on an inviting festive air, perfect for crisp winter days, and festive Christmas nights. Images of Cinderella, in her blue dress, fleeing to her midnight carriage, or Kim Kardashian in the latest silver Dolce & Gabbana dress hitting the catwalk, these colours evoke memories of elegance and fun.
When planning an occasion, remember less is more, however you can bring hues of your chosen colour theme to every element of your big day; from invites to send offs, flowers and favours, bridesmaids and groomsmen… every detail can be created to perfection.
